Torque eSports, MTG eSports and The eSports Observer


Torque eSports is a Canadian based esports media company that also works in North America and Europe

They cooperate with other companies in the esports industry such as game development studio Eden Games and worldwide major tournament association UMG with over 18,000,000 games played in their tournaments.
Torque eSports uses a simple font for their posts and general text. The top panel scrolls through the most recent articles and the lower panels transition into each other smoothly. The main color scheme of the site is white and navy blue.

MTG eSports is a global entertainment company known for their two major eSports brands ESL (Turtle Entertainment, the world’s largest eSports platform) and Dreamhack which speciazles in large European tournaments.
Strangely, MTG eSports uses centered text throughout the landing page but also weaves in off-centered. MTG often uses bolder text than most websites or adds highlight to important lines. MTG uses a transparent header.


The eSports Observer focuses more on the business side of eSports. They often write articles on partnerships, players and major tournaments.
